Over the course of three trips to Her Majesty's capital, the photographer set out to capture the daily lives of the anonymous
inhabitants of this great metropolis in order to create a foundation of memory before the United Kingdom leaves the great
European family for good. One cannot think of a city of this importance without considering its social dimension.
Behind the sometimes deceptive appearances, a cohabitation is established as best as possible between its central districts
where luxury cars and tailor-made suits meet ordinary office workers and cleaning ladies from the London periphery where social
exclusion has taken root. Chris approaches his subjects with the necessary tact, using an aesthetic and natural approach to retain
all the spontaneity of street photography. The choice of black and white avoids distracting the eye and allows to highlight
the strength of the materials and lights, the regular signature of his work.
London, United Kingdom. From 2015 to 2018.
