2017, french presidential election

Never has a politician gone so high in such a short time. Emmanuel Macron, 39, was elected President of the Republic on 7 May 2017 and became the youngest President of the 5th Republic. An electoral campaign begins with the implementation of a large-scale visual communication. The photographer looked at both illegal billboards and regulated signs in the Toulouse region. He travelled to the Haute-Garonne to collect images of electoral posters stuck on supports and affixed in sometimes surprising places. In certain situations, candidates sometimes cohabit with the most rural of events. This succession of photographs offers an informative look at local life during the presidential election period.
